1.0 RECITAL
Majid Al Futtaim Loyalty Programme ("SHARE") is operated by Majid Al Futtaim Rewards LLC ("Majid Al Futtaim" or "MAF") for the Majid Al Futtaim group of Companies. The SHARE rewards mobile application ("SHARE App") that can be available on App Store, Google Play and any other platforms and the SHARE website which is the SHARE rewards programme website at: www.sharerewards.com ("SHARE website") are offered to the Member / You conditional upon the Member’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") as modified from time to time. By accessing and using the SHARE App and / or the SHARE website, you have agreed to all Terms.
2.0 DEFINITIONS
2.1 The following binding definitions shall apply:
a. "Account" means the account where Points of a Member will be Earned/Redeemed accessible on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website.
b. "Earn" or "Earning" is when a Member is rewarded with Points for making a Qualifying Transaction at a Participating Brand.
c. "Enrollment Date" means the date the Member successfully registered with SHARE.
d. "Family Group" means a SHARE feature that enables Family Members to SHARE points with each other as covered in clause 9.0.
e. "Family Head" means a Member covered in clause9.0.
f. "Family Member" means a Member covered in clause9.0.
g. "Gift" means moving points from one SHARE Account to another as covered in clause9.0.
h. "Member" or "You" means a person who has successfully registered a SHARE Account in accordance with these Terms.
i. "Participating Brand" means Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet, Ski Dubai, Little Explorers, iFly, Lululemon Athletica, THAT, Crate and Barrel, Maisons du Monde, and Lego in addition to non-Majid Al Futtaim retail, food & beverage and other brands across Majid Al Futtaim malls, communities and hotels, or at non-Majid Al Futtaim malls, communities and hotels as MAF solely decides from time to time whether in the UAE or outside UAE, at its sole discretion. The current full list is available on the SHARE website: www.sharerewards.com/en/your-share-world , and MAF endeavors to update it periodically.
j. "Partner Programmes" means other rewards programmes of related companies or external to SHARE, with whom SHARE has an agreement to enhance Earning and Redeeming opportunities for Members, at decided at the sole discretion of MAF. The current full list is available on the SHARE website: www.sharerewards.com/en/your-share-world and MAF shall endeavor to update it periodically.
k. "Points" means the value of the SHARE rewards programme currency which are accrued by Members of SHARE in consideration of duly making a Qualifying Transaction.
l. "Operational Date" for UAE the date of operations of Share is 12th May 2019 and for any other countries in future phases it will be as decided by Majid Al Futtaim at its sole and absolute discretion.
m. The "Minimum Redemption Amount" is 10 SHARE Points (worth 1 AED or equivalent) to be used against a purchase.
n. "Privacy Policy" means the terms and conditions describing how Majid Al Futtaim gathers, uses, discloses, and manages its private customer's data as referenced in Clause 14.0 below.
o. "Qualifying Transaction" means a successful transaction within a Participating Brand or a Partner Programme that is carried out in accordance with the Terms and with applicable laws & regulations after the SHARE Operational Date.
p. "Redeem" or "Redeeming" is when a Member uses their Points to pay for goods or services in part or in full in Participating Brands.
q. "SHARE ID" means the barcode identifier within the SHARE App.
r. “SHAREPay” means the SHARE mobile wallet function within the SHARE App, governed by the SHAREPay Terms and Conditions which constitute an integral part of these Terms, and can be found at https://www.sharerewards.com/en/terms-and-conditions-for-sharepay which you agree to be bound with by using SHAREPay.
s. “Tier” means the membership levels of the SHARE Rewards Programme that add escalating benefits and earning opportunities.
t. ‘’Tier Status” means the current Tier of a Member.
u. ‘’Tier Benefits’’ or ‘’Benefits’’ means the ongoing privileges of being a Member of any Tier within the SHARE Rewards Programme.
v. “Tier Points” means the points earned upon eligible spend in participating locations of the Programme. These are used to calculate “Tier Status” and are displayed in the form of “Tier Points” to Members.
w. "Transfer" means moving points to or from a Member’s SHARE Account and a Partner Programme as covered in clause 8.0, or between Family Members or as decided by MAF at its discretion from time to time from one Member Account to another Member.
3.0 GENERAL
3.1 MAF reserves the right to change, modify or amend any part of SHARE at any time. This right includes, but is not limited to, the Terms, Partner Programmes, MAF partner affiliation, rules for Earning and Redeeming points, Minimum Redemption Amount, rules for use of rewards, benefits, procedures, Participating Brands, and specific features of promotional offers. Reasonable efforts will be made to ensure the latest version of these Terms is posted on the SHARE website www.sharerewards.com/en/terms-and-conditions.
The Member's use of SHARE any time or after any change or variation to the Terms or otherwise will be deemed to be an acceptance by the Member to any modification or update. The Member is solely responsible for remaining knowledgeable of the Terms.
3.2 MAF may change, restrict access to, suspend, or discontinue SHARE or the SHARE App, or any portion of SHARE or the Share App, at any time without notice, refuting any liability of whatsoever nature.
3.3 The SHARE App and / or SHARE website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. Such links are provided for your reference only and your use of these websites may be subject to their own terms and conditions. By inclusion of the aforementioned websites MAF does not endorse the material or the security of browsing on such websites. MAF accepts no liability of whatsoever nature related to websites or apps operated by third parties, and under no circumstances shall MAF be liable for any loss or damage caused by your use or reliance on information obtained through third party websites or apps.
3.4 The information published on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website might not be complete or it might include inaccuracies or typos. MAF does not represent or warrant that access to the SHARE App and / or SHARE website will be uninterrupted or that there will be no failures, errors or omissions or loss of transmitted information, or that no viruses will be transmitted on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website. MAF makes no representations about the suitability of the information, products, and services contained on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website for any purpose not for its functionality. All information, products, and services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. MAF hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with regard to information, products and services, including all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
3.5 In no event shall MAF be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or any damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website or with the delay or inability to use the SHARE App and / or SHARE website, or for any information, products and services obtained through the SHARE App and / or Share website, or otherwise arising out of the use of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website, no matter how arising whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise.
3.6 SHARE App and / or SHARE website might contain message or communication facilities which are offered to Members. Any opinions, views or statements expressed or made by a Member in the course of using those facilities are those of that Member and not of MAF or SHARE. MAF is under no obligation to review any messages; information or content posted on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website and assumes no responsibility or liability relating to any such submissions and MAF reserves the right to review, edit or delete without notice any contents or the submissions received from Members, which it deems in its sole discretion to be illegal, offensive or anyway unfitting or otherwise. You understand that you are responsible for any material you may submit to the SHARE App and / or SHARE website. You agree that when posting a message on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website, you shall not defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others; nor publish, post, distribute, or disseminate any harmful, threatening, defamatory, abusive, infringing, offensive, obscene, vulgar, indecent, or unlawful material or information; nor advertise or offer to sell any goods or services or conduct or forward surveys, contests, or chain letters of any kind; nor post messages impersonating others; nor upload any files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws or by rights of privacy unless you have the legal right to do so; nor upload any files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may cause damage to others; nor delete any author attributions, legal notification, or proprietary material in any file therein.
3.7 You agree to indemnify MAF, its affiliates, its subsidiaries, its shareholders, employees, agents and representatives, and to hold all defended and harmless from any claims, and liabilities including legal costs that may arise from your overall use or submissions to the SHARE App and / or SHARE Website, from your use of material or services obtained through the SHARE App and / or SHARE website, from your breach of these Terms, or from any such acts or omissions arising through your use of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website.
3.8 MAF reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deny access to the SHARE App and / or SHARE website wholly or partially without any notification with no liability of whatsoever nature.
3.9 SHARE has no predetermined termination date until such time as MAF decides to terminate it, at any time, with or without notice at MAF’s sole discretion. A Member has the right to leave SHARE and discontinue the usage of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website at any time. If a Member opts to leave SHARE, the Member understands and accepts that the Member shall be forfeiting any unused Points or Earning activities that would generate Points. MAF cannot guarantee, nor does it give any warranties for fulfillment of a Member’s request that is not part of the standard offering of SHARE as per the Terms. Notwithstanding the aforementioned a Member might not be able to directly opt-out of any management, marketing or service communication that is within SHARE.
3.10 Points have no monetary value and cannot be sold or assigned to others or used as value in any other transaction other than those facilitated by SHARE in accordance with the Terms. You understand and accept that the Points are loyalty points for the sole purpose of redemption within Share, and the Points cannot be redeemed for cash nor considered either exchangeable to monetary currency nor that it represents monetary assets of the Member. MAF may cancel any earned Points or the whole or any part of SHARE as and when it deems fit without notice and without liability.
3.11 MAF will not be liable to a Member or any other person for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from suspension, termination or change of SHARE, any of these Terms or any of the facilities, benefits or arrangements which are made available to a Member.
3.12 without prejudice to any of its legal rights under applicable laws including without limitation civil and criminal legal actions MAF reserves the right to disqualify a Member from further participation in SHARE, to cancel all previously accumulated Points and to seek compensation for Points redeemed if, in MAF 's sole judgment, that Member has engaged in misconduct or breached any of the Terms, including, but not limited to the fraudulent acquisition of Points or acquisition, sale or abuse of Points or acquisition, sale or abuse of redeemed goods, services or benefits
3.13 The SHARE App and/ or SHARE website is controlled and offered by MAF from its offices in the United Arab Emirates. MAF makes no representations or warranties that the Share App and/ or SHARE website and the content thereat is appropriate for use in other locations. Those who access or use SHARE App and/ or SHARE website from other countries / jurisdictions do so at their own volition and risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
3.14 You understand and accept that if MAF is required by applicable law or these Terms to notify the Member for any purpose in regards to SHARE or these Terms, You will be duly notified if MAF (at it sole discretion) publishes the notification to the Members at the SHARE App or the Share Website.
4.0 MEMBERSHIP – REGISTRATION & JOINING
4.1 SHARE is available to any person over the age of ten (10) years old. However, if the user is under the age of 18, their membership and all dealings within should be made under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound and bound the underage user by these Terms.
4.2 MAF reserves the right to accept or reject any application for membership in SHARE at its absolute discretion.
4.3 If an application for membership is rejected or cancelled, any benefit that may have accrued to the applicant through SHARE usage will be null and void.
4.4 SHARE is free for registration and is available by downloading the SHARE App and completing the required registration details.
4.5 Members must complete the registration process by providing current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. As a minimum, the member will need to provide their full name, email address and mobile number. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided for registration or any other information provided by you on SHARE. The member is responsible for updating his/her account on SHARE with any changes to their contact information. MAF reserves the right to require more information from the member to complete the registration.
4.6 Membership is not transferable, and any benefits / Points cannot be assigned or transferred to any other Member, unless otherwise in accordance with these Terms.
4.7 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, in addition to transfer of Points between Family Members as per these Terms, or a Member transferring their Points from / to a Partner Programmes, as per these Terms MAF shall have the right at its sole and absolute discretion (and not the obligation) on exceptional circumstances as decided by MAF from time to time to allow transfer of Points from a Member’s account to another Member’s account.
In case MAF allows transfer of Points between Members, you understand and accept that:
a. The minimum allowable shared Points shall be (10) Points;
b. It is the responsibility of the Member to ensure that the entered recipient email address and any other data required to complete the transfer of Points is correct;
c. Once a transfer of points is done, transferred Points are non-reversible to the transferor’s Account nor transferable to any other Account;
d. MAF reserves the right without any demur by the Member to reverse at its discretion any or all of the transferred Points if a Member is found (at MAF’s sole opinion) in breach of any of the Terms. MAF reserves the right to cancel the transfer of Points between Members as and when it deems fit. MAF shall endeavor (without being obligated to) to notify the members of such cancelation, either through publishing on the Share Website or Share App or through any other means.
The Member hereby understand and accept that IN NO EVENT SHALL MAF BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY LIABLITY OF WHATSOEVER NATURE ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USER’S USAGE OF SHARE OR THE TRANSFER OF POINTS TO ANOTHER MEMBER’S ACCOUNT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF POINTS AND / OR LOSS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. THE MEMBER INDEMNIFIES AND HOLDS MAF HARMLESS AGAINST ANY THIRD-PARTY CLAIM THAT MIGHT BE ARISING FROM SHARE IN GENERAL AND FROM TRANSFER OF POINTS SPECIFICALLY.
4.8 All Points accrued by a Member will be credited to their respective Account only.
4.9 A Member cannot have multiple Accounts. MAF shall have the right without any demur by the Member to amend, adjoin, delete or cancel all or any of the multiple Accounts or whole or part of the accumulated Points of a Member if he / she is apparently found to have created more than one account for accumulating Points in a way that is in MAF’s sole opinion malicious or not in accordance with these terms.
4.10 Members will be able to link their Account to a Family Group a as well as share their Points with other Members of the same Family Group as outlined in clause 9.0.
5.0 EARNING POINTS
5.1 A Member may Earn Points on Qualifying Transactions on or after their Enrollment Date.
5.2 To Earn Points, the Member must have downloaded the SHARE App and fill in the required registration details in order to activate their Account.
5.3 For Earning in-store at Participating Brands the Member must make available the SHARE App on a mobile device and be logged in to their Account.
5.4 At Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, AllSaints, Crate & Barrel, Lululemon, Lego and / or any other outlets specified by MAF from time to time Members should present their SHARE ID within the SHARE App to the cashier prior to payment in order to Earn Points.
5.5 E-commerce Points Earning through a Participating Brand’s website and/or mobile application requires Members to log into their SHARE Account on the respective e-commerce website and/or mobile application before completing the transaction.
5.6 In the event that a Member’s SHARE ID is unavailable at the time of payment, Members can Earn using the receipt scanning functionality within the SHARE App as covered in clause12.0.
5.7 A Member may make a retroactive claim up to 14 days after the Qualifying Transaction date, only via the receipt scanning functionality as covered in clause 12.0.
5.8 The Member’s Earn rate will vary based on the Participating Brand and will range from 2.5 points up to 100 points or more per 100 AED or equivalent in other currencies, of the total Qualifying Transaction amount. MAF reserves the right to change the Earn Rate at its sole discretion.
5.9 The number of Points Earned by the Member shall be based on the total Qualifying Transaction amount.
5.10 Points may take up to 1 week to be credited to a Member’s Account. Points Earned by a Member may only be Redeemed by that Member in accordance with these Terms once they have been credited to the relevant Account.
5.11 Points can only be Earned on Qualifying Transactions. It is the responsibility of the Member to verify the accrual of points Earned in these instances.
5.12 The Member cannot Earn Points when purchasing the following items, which can be amended from time to time or other purchases excluded by MAF at its discretion:
a. Financial services products (e.g. ATM, banking, currency exchange)
b. Gift cards
c. Specialist services products (e.g. extended warranty, Nol, Salik, Etisalat, Du)
d. Sales identified by Carrefour as Bulk sales are not part of SHARE. Terms and Conditions apply.
e. Carrefour online items sold by 3rd party suppliers (not sold by Carrefour)
6.0 REDEEMING POINTS
6.1 Members can Redeem Points in Participating Brands by purchasing good and services in consideration of Points, with the current redemption rate set at 10 points = 1 AED. MAF reserves the right to change the redemption rate at its discretion.
6.2 The minimum redemption amount is 10 points (current equivalent value of 1 AED), then upwards in increments of 0.1 point (equivalent value of 0.01 AED).
6.3 For redemption in-store at Participating Brands the Member must produce the SHARE App on a mobile device and be logged in to their Account.
6.4 At Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, AllSaints, Crate & Barrel, Lululemon and/or any other outlets, Members should present their SHARE ID within the SHARE App to the cashier prior to payment in order to Redeem points. Here, Points redemption is restricted to the full value of an item.
6.5 Within Majid Al Futtaim owned hotels, points can be Redeemed on hotel restaurant spend and Members.
6.6 Within Majid Al Futtaim owned hotels, it is not yet possible to Redeem points on hotel room spend.
6.7 E-commerce Points redemption through a Participating Brand’s website requires Members to log into their SHARE account on the respective e-commerce website before completing the transaction.
6.8 The Redeemed Points will automatically be deducted from the Member’s Account at the time of redemption.
6.9 Members must have sufficient Points in their Account in order to Redeem the requested number of Points.
6.10 Points have a validity of 24 months from the date of Earning, after which, they will expire.
6.11 If there is no Account Earning or Redeeming activity for 24 months then all points will expire, as covered in clause 11.0.
7.0 REDEEMING PART POINTS / PART CASH
7.1 Members may Redeem their Points either in full or in part Points / part cash on a Qualifying Transaction.
7.2 Members will Earn Points based on the non-Points redemption component of the transaction.
7.3 Members can select the number of Points to be Redeemed in each transaction through the SHARE App, subject to any Minimum Redemption Amount.
7.4 For part Points / part cash redemptions in VOX Cinemas, Points redemption is restricted to the full value of an item. For example, if a member purchases 2 tickets and 1 popcorn within a single transaction, they must select which individual items will be paid for with Points and which with cash; such as 1 ticket paid for with Points, 1 ticket and 1 popcorn paid for with cash.
8.0 TRANSFERRING POINTS WITH PARTNER PROGRAMMES
8.1 SHARE will enhance Member Earning and Redeeming opportunities by engaging in Partner Programmes agreements.
8.2 SHARE may at any time and without prior notice to Members, add, withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any Partner Programmes. It is the responsibility of the Member to verify eligibility to Earn and Redeem Points with Partners Programmes.
8.3 Members can Transfer their Points from their Account to their Partner Programme’s account.
8.4 SHARE Members can receive Points from their Partner Programme’s account into their SHARE Account.
8.5 The Points conversion rate between a Partner Programme and SHARE will be set on a case-by-case basis. MAF reserves the right to modify the points conversion rate at its discretion.
8.6 Members can Transfer out a minimum of 10 SHARE Points, in increments of 0.1 Point. MAF can change the minimum Transfer rate at its discretion.
8.7 If a SHARE Member is identified as a member of Carrefour MyCLUB (a loyalty program operated by Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets L.L.C), and Carrefour MyCLUB is either suspended, converted to another or terminated, then, Majid Al Futtaim shall have the right (but not the obligation) at its sole discretion to transfer all valid Carrefour MyCLUB points accumulated by a Member from the Member’s Carrefour MyCLUB account to the Member’s SHARE Account. A Member’s acceptance of linking SHARE with Carrefour MyCLUB accounts or where the customer is identified as the same in both programmes via email address or otherwise is deemed as an express consent by the Member of this condition without any demur.
9.0 FAMILY GROUP
9.1 A Member must log in to their SHARE Account to create a Family Group and become the Family Head.
9.2 The Family Head must be aged 18 years or over.
9.3 The Family Head is the Family Group administrator and can invite other family members to join via an invite link.
9.4 The prospective Family Member needs to accept the invite link in order to be linked to the Family Group.
9.5 Each Family Member must be a registered Member of SHARE prior to joining the Family Group.
9.6 Family Group Members must be directly related to the Family Head in one of the following ways: Spouse, Son, Step-Son, Daughter, Step-Daughter, Mother, Mother-in-Law, Step-Mother, Father, Father-in-Law, Step-Father, Brother, Sister, Granddaughter, Grandson and Domestic Helper.
9.7 Family Group Members may be requested to provide SHARE with additional proof of their relationship to the Family Head.
9.8 The Family Head has the right to terminate the Family Group at any time.
9.9 Family Members can gift their Points to other Family Members of the same Family Group by transferring points from their Account to another Family Group Member’s Account.
9.10 A Family Group can hold up to 10 Members including the Family Head.
9.11 A Member can only be part of one Family Group at one time.
9.12 All transfers or gifting of Points between family Members are permanent and non-reversible, immediately upon transfer.
9.13 A Family Group member can leave the Family Group at any time.
9.14 Upon leaving a Family Group or deleting a Family Group as the Family Head or a Family Member, the Member can only join another Family Group or start a new Family Group at least six (6) months after the date of joining the original Family Group.
9.15 Participation in Family Group is offered at the discretion of Majid Al Futtaim.
9.16 The Family Head acceptance of the Terms hereof is considered an acceptance of all of the Family Group Members inclusive of minors.
9.17 The Family Head understands, accepts and agrees that Majid Al Futtaim shall be sending marketing material related to SHARE and the Participating Brands to all Members including minors, although Majid Al Futtaim will make its best endeavors to ensure marketing materials are compliant with applicable laws and regulations, however, it is the responsibility of each Family Head to ensure the safety and security of the minors’ browsing through SHARE App and SHARE website and third party links and websites.
9.18 In no event shall Majid Al Futtaim be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website and / or third party links and websites by a Family member and specifically by a minor in the Family Group.
10.0 RETURNS
10.1 Any item purchased with Earned SHARE Points or which was paid for with Points or part Points shall be returnable under the respective Participating Brand’s returns policy.
10.2 Points will not be Earned on refunded products. Transaction information may be shared with participating Brands for transaction verification, validation and fraud detection purposes.
10.3 In the event the item is purchased through Earned Points, the equivalent amount of Points will be deducted from the Member’s Account when the return transaction has been processed.
10.4 If there are insufficient Points in the Member’s Account for the deduction of Earned Points from a related refund the Member’s Account will be immediately suspended for verification. No further Earning or Redemption transactions will be permissible until the account has been verified by the SHARE member services team.
10.5 In the event of a Member seeking a refund having redeemed SHARE Points for original purchase, the Participating Brand reserves the right to refund via their existing policy or via SHARE Points to the members account.
11.0 CLOSURE & TERMINATION
11.1 Majid Al Futtaim may in its absolute discretion suspend, close or terminate a membership or a Member's accumulated Points at any time with or without cause or justification to the Member as MAF deems fit at its sole discretion.
11.2 When Member does not transact for 24 months their Account is set to "Lapsed" status.
11.3 Any time between 24 and 36 months, if a member transacts, their Account will be moved from Lapsed back to the "Active" and login credentials will remain valid, but Points will expire.
11.4 When the Member does not transact for 36 months, he/she would be moved to "Archived" stage at which point the Member would need to register again, as previous login credentials would no longer be valid. MAF reserves the right to modify the Archived stage non activity period.
11.5 The member may cancel his/her membership at any time by calling 800-SHARE (74273). SHARE reserves the right to request appropriate identification and information from the Member in order to process the cancellation.
11.6 SHARE membership will terminate immediately on notification of death or bankruptcy of a Member. In addition, where the deceased or bankrupt Member is also the Family Head of a Family Account, the relevant Family Account will also terminate. Any Points accumulated for a deceased or bankrupt Member or a Family Head shall be void.
12.0 RECEIPT SCANNING
12.1 Members may Earn points by submitting valid original receipts through the receipt scanning functionality on the SHARE App.
12.2 Receipt scanning functionality is unavailable at any outlet or Participating Brand where SHARE ID scanning is required such as in Carrefour outlets, VOX Cinemas, Lego, Crate & Barrel outlets and any other outlets or Participating Brand as decided by MAF from time to time.
12.3 A valid receipt is defined as a Qualifying Transaction receipt submitted within 14 days from the transaction date. The 14-day period includes the date of purchase, and receipts that are submitted more than 14 days after the date of purchase will not be accepted. The time of purchase will not be taken into consideration. MAF reserves the right to amend the period of receipt scanning, as it may see fit, from time to time.
12.4 Credit/Debit card receipts will not be accepted.
12.5 The Member must ensure that the entire receipt is captured when the phone’s camera is activated, including all information available.
12.6 Each receipt must be scanned separately through the ‘Add Receipt’ option or separately.
12.7 Members can Earn Points on all valid receipts, with no minimum transaction amount.
12.8 Verification of receipt validity will be a right of Majid Al Futtaim who reserves the right to reject receipts and withhold any associated rewards.
12.9 Points will be credited to the Member’s account within 1 week from the date of submitting the valid receipt, although this timeline may be extended if the transaction requires further investigation.
12.10 In the event that a valid receipt has been scanned through SHARE App and is rejected, Members can raise a complaint by calling the call centre to initiate an investigation.
12.11 Without prejudice to any rights under applicable laws, including but not limited to civil and penal legal actions, MAF reserves the right to suspend or disable the Accounts of Members, cancel accumulated Points and prevent any future Points accruals should any fraudulent activity or misuse of the receipt scanning or any misuse of SHARE be detected or suspected. SHARE is not obliged to award Points for valid receipts during the period of account suspension.
13.0 FAIR USE
13.1 SHARE is intended to reward and benefit individual customers who participate with the Participating Brands.
13.2 No collective group use is permitted of SHARE, expect where specifically included in the Terms.
13.3 No corporate use is permitted i.e. collection or use of Points or benefits for business purposes is not permitted.
13.4 All exceptional or out of the ordinary use as decided by MAF i.e Points Earning, Redeeming, refunding or use of other benefits of Share will be flagged and may lead to suspension of the related Account whilst the activity is under verification.
13.5 Any misuse of SHARE from its original intention and any action or omission against the fair use terms as decided by MAF at its discretion may lead to permanent deletion of the related SHARE Account and forfeiture of any Points outstanding.
13.6 Majid Al Futtaim reserves the right to legally pursue individuals, companies or other organizations for legal recourse if SHARE is mis-used.
13.7 Majid Al Futtaim reserves the right to suspend, delete or otherwise modify any Member’s Account, or the entire SHARE programme at any time at its sole discretion, with or without prior notification. This may lead to a forfeiture of all outstanding Points, promotions and benefits.
14.0 PRIVACY POLICY
14.1 Majid Al Futtaim shall endeavor to diligently protect a Member’s privacy. Majid Al Futtaim Privacy Policy is available at: https://www.majidalfuttaim.com/privacy which is included by reference as an integral part within these Terms. By using SHARE, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to Majid Al Futtaim Privacy Policy.
15.0 TIERS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
15.1 GENERAL
SHARE reserves the right to add, modify, limit, delete or otherwise change any of the rules, procedures, conditions, “Earn” and “Redeem” rules, Rewards, Benefits, Tier Status, and “Benefits” pertaining to the Programme at its sole discretion at any time, even though changes may affect the value of SHARE Points or Tier Points already accumulated. This means that SHARE may make changes that affect, but are not limited to, “Participating Brands”, rules for Earning and Redeeming SHARE Points, Tier Status, Benefits, rules and procedures for the use of Benefits, continued availability of Rewards and the features of any or all special offers. 15.2 TIER POINTS EARNING
a. Tier Points differ from SHARE Points and do not have a monetary value.
b. Tier Points are earned on spend made in the SHARE Rewards Programme within the Programme ecosystem which is comprised of Majid Al Futtaim brands and tenants in malls.
c. Any third party offers, third party promotions, third party vouchers or credit card hosted promotions, associate discounted rates, excluded items, other promotions and discounted rates are not eligible for Tier Points earnings.
d. Bonus SHARE Points or any similar promotional points earned on SHARE Points do not count toward Tier Points.
e. Members earn one (1) Tier Point for every AED 1 of eligible spend in the Programme.

15.3 MEMBER TIER BENEFITS
a. SHARE is a multi-tiered loyalty programme with the base Tier starting at SHARE Classic followed by SHARE Plus and SHARE VIP.
b. Digital membership IDs are available across all Tiers and automatically reflect on the SHARE mobile application in the form of SHARE ID.
c. Benefits available to Members vary by Tier and cannot be transferred to anyone else. Members must present their membership information via the SHARE mobile application to utilize their Tier Benefits at participating locations.

15.4 TIER CALCULATION, TIER STATUS, TIER RENEWAL, TIER UPGRADES AND DOWNGRADES
g. Tier Points are calculated based on Member spend in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) over a rolling twelve (12) month period. The programme looks back at the past 365 days on any given day to assess each Member’s Tier.
h. Tier Points that are earned on eligible spend and are used to calculate a Member’s Tier Status only.
i. Tier Points cannot be used for redemptions.
j. To move into higher tiers, a Member needs to meet the tier threshold criteria:
• SHARE Classic 0 – 99,999 Tier Points
• SHARE Plus – 100,000 – 249,999 Tier Points
• SHARE VIP – 250,000 or more Tier Points
k. Once a Member is awarded a higher Tier, the Member can enjoy the Benefits of that Tier for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of being awarded the higher Tier.
l. A Member’s Tier Status is valid for a period of twelve (12) months and is calculated based on the Tier Points earned in the previous twelve (12) months.
m. A Member may move to a higher Tier instantly based on Tier Points collected during this period. However, the Member will not be moved to a lower Tier within this twelve (12) month period.
n. Tier Points are reassessed at the end of every twelve (12) months (from joining or from Tier upgrade.) Members are then moved to a Tier that reflects their current Tier Points balance. In case of a Tier reset to downgrade, the Member will only be downgraded by one level.
o. If a Member’s total number of Tier Points earned in the twelve-month period meets the threshold requirement for the Tier they are currently in, they will retain the same Tier for a further twelve (12) months.
p. If a Member’s total number of Tier Points earned in the 12-month period do not meet the threshold requirements for the Tier they are in, they will move one Tier lower.
q. VIP or Plus Tier will not be awarded to SHARE Members identified as bulk buyers or professional buyers.
15.5 CLOSURE & TERMINATION
a. SHARE Membership will terminate immediately on notification of death or bankruptcy of a Member. Thus, Tier Status may not be transferred, and any Tier Points accumulated for a deceased or bankrupt Member, or a Family Head shall be void.
b. Any misuse of SHARE from its original intention and any action or omission against the fair use terms as decided by MAF at its discretion may lead to permanent deletion of the related SHARE Account and forfeiture of any Tier Points outstanding and respectively its Benefits.

16.0 FAB SHARE CREDIT CARD

17.0 TOP UP
a. With Top Up capability, user can purchase SHARE Points by paying for these Points.
b. Minimum and maximum amount of top up points that can be purchased per transaction are pre-defined and are subject to change.
c. On purchasing the points, the user is eligible to get the promotional bonus points as per the ongoing promotional offer at that time. The user will not get the promotional benefit in case there is no promotional offer running at the time of Top Up. We will have no liability or responsibility to you should you be unable to use or redeem any bought Points.
d. User cannot use SHARE Points to purchase or top up with SHARE Points.
e. User can check the top up value in points credited under the Transaction history page and under order details when the order is successfully placed.
