How does SHARE work?

Whenever you spend at any of Majid Al Futtaim stores, hotel restaurants and leisure destinations, as well as the many retail brands inside our malls, you’ll earn SHARE points.

Paying for your purchases with the SHARE Wallet is the most effortless way to earn points. Simply add your credit or debit card to the SHARE Wallet for ease of payment. If you prefer to pay by cash or a card not incorporated into the SHARE Wallet, you can scan the receipt in the app and your points will be updated.

At VOX Cinemas, simply present the SHARE app on your phone and our friendly staff will help you earn and redeem points. Your points will be added automatically to your SHARE account and you’ll be able to instantly redeem them and share them with up to nine family members.

If you’re a Carrefour MyClub member you can tip in your MyClub points into SHARE to redeem them through the SHARE programme or tip out your SHARE points into your MyClub account to spend at Carrefour.

Which brands are included in the SHARE rewards programme?

Members can earn SHARE points on purchases from all Majid Al Futtaim stores, hotel restaurants and leisure destinations, and also the hundreds of retail brands inside our malls – including fashion, accessories, homeware, electronics, food and beverage, groceries, luxury brands, and more. Majid Al Futtaim brands include all Carrefour outlets, VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet, and lifestyle and leisure destinations such as Ski Dubai, Little Explorers, iFly, Lulu Lemon, Crate and Barrel, Maisons du Monde, American Girl and Lego.

I am a member of VOX Rewards. How do I join SHARE?

VOX Rewards will now be replaced by SHARE. If you’re a member of VOX Rewards and recently reset your password, simply download the SHARE app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play and sign in using the same email and password you registered with for the VOX app.

Will VOX Rewards continue in parallel with SHARE?

VOX Rewards closed when SHARE launched and SHARE is now the rewards programme for VOX Cinemas.

What will happen to my VOX Rewards points?

Your closing VOX Rewards points balance has been converted to free tickets and/or food and drinks. These will be stored in your VOX account on the VOX Cinemas app and will be available for the next 9 months.

I’m a member of Carrefour MyCLUB, how will my points be affected and can I join SHARE?

You can continue to earn and redeem your Carrefour MyCLUB points as you currently do but will now have the added advantage of moving points between MyCLUB and SHARE.

Just download the SHARE app from the Apple Store or Google Play and follow the instructions to link your accounts in the ‘My Account’ section. You’ll need to use MyCLUB in Carrefour and SHARE everywhere else.

How can I join SHARE?

SHARE is free to join. Simply download the SHARE app onto your smartphone and enter a few personal details to register.

If you’re currently a member of VOX Rewards, your account has already been upgraded to SHARE.

If you’re a Carrefour MyCLUB member, it’s easy to link your account to your new SHARE account and move points between both programmes. Simply open your SHARE app and go to My Account >Transfer to MyCLUB and follow the instructions. You can then continue to experience the same great rewards and more.

Will I receive a SHARE card when I join the programme?

Everything in SHARE is done via the app on your phone. You can download the SHARE app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

How old do I have to be to join SHARE?

You must be at least 10 years old.

Can I have more than one SHARE account?

You only need one SHARE account, registered with your name, email address and phone number. Your SHARE account is personal, so if you’ve been using a single VOX Rewards and MyCLUB account with your family, you will still have the opportunity to create a Family Group and share points with your family members but each member will have to register individually, first.

Will I need to provide personal details?

Yes, you will need to provide your name, email address, date of birth and phone number when you register so that we can personalise future offerings just for you.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your SHARE membership at any time by getting in touch with our contact centre.

I have accidentally been locked out of my SHARE account. How can I reset my password?

To reset your password, simply select the Reset password option in the SHARE app.

Family

Does SHARE offer family or corporate membership?

The SHARE rewards programme allows for individuals to sign up and then link accounts with family members through the app should you choose to. SHARE does not currently offer corporate membership.

How do I create a Family Group?

To create a Family Group, go to My Account and select Family in the app. You can then invite members to join your Family Group and once they’ve accepted they can share points with you. The member who creates the family group will be considered the ‘Family Head’.

How many people can I have in my Family Group?

You can have up to 10 people (including you) in your family group who can share points.

Who can I add to my Family Group?

You can add members of your immediate and extended family and include your domestic staff.

How do we collect and redeem family points?

Each member collects points individually to their SHARE account based on their purchases and can choose to have a certain portion of those points transferred automatically to the Family Head. In addition, an individual can gift points to any other member of the Family Group.

If you decide to automatically contribute a percentage of points earned in each transaction to your Family Head, you can change the percentage anytime by going to Accounts, followed by Family in the SHARE app.

To gift points to any family member, just go to the Family page in your SHARE app and select the family member you’d like to transfer points to and how many points you want to transfer. The points balance will be updated immediately in the SHARE accounts of both the sender and receiver.

Can I be a member of more than one family?

You can only be a member of one Family Group.

Can I create more than 1 family group?

At any one point in the programme, you can only be part of one family group as a family member or Family Head. Members cannot be part of two groups at any stage.

As the family group head, can I delete/discontinue the group?

Yes, as the Family Head, you can delete or discontinue the group at any time. However, please note that you can only join another family group or start a new family group at least six (6) months after the date of your joining the original group.

As the family group head, can I remove a family member from the group?

No. Once accepted into the family group, only the family member can choose to leave the group.

As a family member, can I leave a Family Group?

Yes, as member of a family you can leave the Family Group at any time. Just go to the Family section of your app and click Leave Family Group at the bottom of the screen. However, you can only join another family group or start a new family group at least six (6) months after the date of your joining the original group. If you choose to you can join the same family group which you left at any time.

What happens to my SHARE points if I leave a group or if I delete a group?

As a Family Head, if you delete a group, you will not receive any points contribution from family members any more. Each member of the group will continue to be an individual member in the SHARE programme. Future points earned will remain with the individual member.

As a family member if you leave a group, any points you may have contributed to the family account will not be returned to you, and no further contributions will be made to the Family Head. Your account will be an individual account.

Can I join a different Family Group?

Yes you can, but you’ll need to wait six months if you’ve just left a Family Group.

How do I add a card to my SHARE Wallet?

Simply go to SHARE Wallet on your app and click on the Add card button. You can enter your card details manually or turn on camera permissions and scan your card.

How do I pay with my SHARE Wallet?

Go to your SHARE Wallet and choose which card you’d like to pay with and tap the SHARE beacon at the cashier’s desk. If you pay with a combination of points and card, simply use the app to choose the number of points and then pay the remainder with your registered card using the SHARE Wallet. Simply tap on the beacon once you’ve input the number of points and selected your card.

Which cards can I add to my SHARE Wallet?

Any VISA or Mastercard Debit or Credit card can be linked to your profile, as long as it’s accepted for online registration and purchasing by your bank.

What is the SHARE Wallet?

The SHARE Wallet is a contactless payment feature in the SHARE app. Simply add your debit or credit card details to the digital wallet, so that you can pay quickly and earn instant points when you make purchases.

How do I add a card to my SHARE Wallet?

Simply go to SHARE Wallet on your app and click on the Add card button. You can enter your card details manually or turn on camera permissions and scan your card.

We’ll process a small transaction to verify your card. You’ll receive an immediate transaction notification from your bank, and you’ll need to input the exact amount charged, to complete the card registration process. Spending limits will apply until your card is verified.

How do I verify my debit/credit card?

As soon as you add your card, a small amount will be charged for verification, this amount will be sent to your phone as an SMS/Email, please enter the amount (in AED) in the verification page. Once the card is verified, the amount will be returned back to your card within maximum 24 hrs.

In the case an SMS/E-mail wasn’t received, your bank may not have enabled notifications services for this card. Please check bank your bank statement or get in touch with the bank to enquire about the latest charged amount by Beam, then enter the same in the verification page.

Can I use the SHARE Wallet without verifying my debit/credit card?

The step is required in order to confirm card authorization, spending limits will apply until your card is verified.

Why am I unable to add my debit card to my SHARE Wallet?

Some debit cards require bank’s authorization to be used for online transactions, if you faced any registration errors, please reach out to your bank to enable the service.

What should I do if I was charged incorrectly for a SHARE Wallet transaction?

Firstly we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please call the SHARE Contact Centre on 800-SHARE (74273) where you will be asked some clarifying questions about the transaction, then we will work to resolve the issue.

When can I expect my refund if I was charged incorrectly for a SHARE Wallet transaction?

We raise your refund request on the same day the case was reported. Depending on your bank’s processes the refund may take up to 10 working days before appearing in your bank account.

What do I do if I received two transaction messages from my bank for a single transaction?

We try to ensure we only charge you once, so your duplicate transaction is probably already voided which may take a few minutes for your bank to notify you. Please allow 30 minutes and then check your card balance to see if there are two transactions. If you still believe you are charged twice, please contact 800-SHARE (74273) for us to refund your second transaction.

What is the relationship between SHARE and Beam?

SHARE is the rewards programme of Majid Al Futtaim which is powered by the Beam payment technology.

What are SHARE points?

SHARE points are the programme’s currency and they’ll accrue every time you make a purchase at a participating store, hotel restaurant and leisure destination, or one of the many retail brands inside our malls.

Can I purchase additional points from SHARE or from another SHARE member?

You can’t currently purchase additional points, but your Family Group can share their earned points with you.

Can I transfer my points to someone else if I’m cancelling my membership?

You can transfer your points to someone within your Family Group for free, but you can’t transfer to members outside your Family Group. All transfers must be made before you cancel your account.

Do my points expire?

Any unused points will automatically expire after 24 months.

How are my points calculated?

Points are calculated according to a base earning rate on the value of your transactions. This rate will vary depending on the type of retailer you’re shopping at and will range from 2.5 to 100 points earned per 100AED spent.

When you spend in a Majid Al Futtaim brand, inside a Majid Al Futtaim shopping mall you can earn 2 times for the same purchase, boosting the number of points earned from just one transaction.

How can I check my points balance?

Go to the My Account section on your SHARE app to see your balance and all your recent transactions, or check your balance on the main home screen.

Can I transfer my points to someone else?

Yes. You can gift points to people in your Family Group via the SHARE app.

Do I earn points when I use points to pay in full or in part?

You don’t earn points when you’re only paying with points. However, if you use part-points you will earn points on the balance paid with cash or card.

How can I earn points?

Points are earned on transactions at all stores within Majid Al Futtaim malls and at Majid Al Futtaim brands located outside our malls. Simply pay with the SHARE Wallet, the mobile wallet in the SHARE app, or by receipt scanning if you pay by cash or credit/debit card. In VOX Cinemas, the cashier will help you earn points once you present your SHARE ID in your SHARE app. You can also earn points when making a purchase online at VOX Cinema (other brands will be enabled soon!).

As a Carrefour MyCLUB member you can also convert your MyCLUB points to SHARE points.

How do I earn points by receipt scanning?

Some retailers, outlets, leisure destinations, venues or partners don’t have the technology to accept SHARE Wallet payments, so you can scan your receipt to earn points in the SHARE app. Receipts must be scanned and submitted within 14 days from receipt date.

Go to My Account and select Scan receipt to take a photo of your receipt. If you have a long receipt, use the long receipt option to take multiple pictures, making sure you overlap the end of one picture with the beginning of the next picture.

How do I earn points in Carrefour?

Simply continue using your MyCLUB to collect points – nothing has changed. You can transfer points between MyCLUB and SHARE in the apps.

How quickly will my points appear in my account?

If you pay with your SHARE Wallet or present your barcode in VOX Cinemas, your points will appear instantly. If you’re scanning your receipt the points will be credited into your account within a week. It could take longer to validate, if the image is not clear.

What if earned points don’t appear in my account?

Points from a scanned receipt will usually be credited within a week, but might take longer to appear in your account if your receipt is unclear. If points don’t appear in your account in 10 days, you can call our Contact Centre for support.

Where can I find my SHARE Member ID?

Your SHARE ID is on your My Account page just above the transaction history.

Will I receive points on purchases made with my Majid Al Futtaim gift card?

Yes, you will earn points on transactions made with your Majid Al Futtaim gift card, as long as you scan the receipt.

How can I redeem my points?

To redeem points, tap the SHARE logo and select SHARE points.

You can pay a full transaction with points, or using a combination of points and your registered debit or credit card, using the SHARE Wallet.

If you prefer to use some points and pay the remaining balance with cash or a different card, you should ask the cashier to split the payments accordingly.

To redeem SHARE points in Carrefour, you’ll need to link your SHARE and MyCLUB accounts from the SHARE app, and transfer some SHARE points to your MyCLUB account.

How do I redeem points in VOX Cinemas?

The VOX cashier will help you redeem your points once you present your SHARE ID in the SHARE app. You must use your points for whole items when making purchases at VOX Cinemas. You can also redeem your points online for VOX Cinemas.

What can I redeem my points for?

Points can be redeemed as cash equivalent currency across all of Majid Al Futtaim’s stores, hotel restaurants and leisure destinations, as well as many of the retail brands inside our malls. Click here for a full list of participating vendors.

Points can also be redeemed for a mall gift card, available at the Mall of the Emirates & City Centres’ Customer Service desks in the UAE. The use of this gift card is subject to the standard Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls GiftCard Terms and Conditions.

Is it possible to earn SHARE points and redeem them instantly?

Points earned using the SHARE Wallet or SHARE ID will appear instantly in your SHARE account and can be redeemed immediately after they appear in your SHARE account. However, points earned via receipt scanning will take up to one week to appear in your SHARE account. Once the points are in your account, you can redeem them anytime.

Do I need a minimum number of points to pay for purchases?

You need a minimum of 10 SHARE points (worth 1 AED) to use against a purchase. You can choose to redeem some or all of your points at any of the participating merchants. You can use your points to pay in full or as part payment and then pay the balance with the SHARE Wallet. If you prefer to pay with some points and the balance with cash or card, you will need to ask the cashier to split the payment accordingly.

Is it possible to pay using part points and part cash or credit card?

Yes, you can pay using some points and use cash or credit card for the remaining balance at all participating locations. Just ask the cashier to split the payment accordingly.

Can I exchange my points for cash?

SHARE points are a cash equivalent currency and can be used to pay in the wide network of participating outlets and can’t be exchanged for cash.

If I return goods that I earned points on, will I lose the points?

If you return goods on which you earned points, these points will be deducted from your account.

Can I redeem points that someone else earned?

You can redeem points on someone else’s purchase if the points are gifted to you from someone in your Family Group.
